VoiceLink Uganda
VoiceLink Uganda is a Mozilla-funded project that works with community radio stations across Uganda to collect, curate, and publish multilingual speech data. The goal is to create an open, public dataset using the Common Voice platform to support the development of inclusive language AI systems.
Community Language Data Cooperative (CLDC)
The Community Language Data Cooperative supports Ugandan communities to document oral heritage, build language datasets and gain AI-related skills. It strengthens digital inclusion by enabling speakers of low-resource languages to participate in AI development through community-led data governance, training, and dataset creation.
